What is Scientology?


This is what the people of scientology.org write on the back of their helpfully misinformative DVDs. They intend for it to be impressive, as though these 'facts' are all good things. They want you to be in awe of their success. They want you to assume that they are all that and a bag of chips.

What they don't tell you is the actual answer to their rhetoric.

Scientology has been covered by far better sources than I, and everything can be read at sites like Xenu.Net. But to summarize, Scientology is a destructive cult, and it's out for your money and your life. Just ask Lisa McPherson. If only Project Chanology, which can be found out about by poking around [link] or Google, was around when she was alive. Then maybe something could have been done.

Though it's too late for Lisa, for which you only need to Google to learn about, there are still many, many innocent people who stand to lose everything, because they put their trust into this organization. And the scary thing is, all these people are innocent. They believe in and love Scientology, to the point that they will carry out the Fair Game policy.

And so it is that I have to remain Anonymous for my own safety. If I were to show myself as opposed to what Scientology does to its followers (not to Scientology itself; people are allowed to believe in alien warlords named Xenu if they want), then I would be in great danger. That does not mean I can not act.


I have created this account to spread awareness to the artistic community of dA. The more who know, the better, and there are many talented people here who can help make the good kind of propaganda that dispels ignorance. If you have anything to share, you are free to note me, or email me, and it will be uploaded or favourited so that everyone may see it. The only requirement is that you remain completely Anonymous. Don't even comment on this page if you can be traced back. Ask for a new email from absentis@ottawalulz.com, and make a new account. Keep it separate from your old one. Then use it to watch me, and read as much as you can find on the internet. Tell your friends. Tell your neighbours. Inform your families, your teachers, your bus drivers. Hand out pamphlets and flyers, and save more people from suicide, murder, bankruptcy, and future Project Snow Whites and Project Freakouts.

This is not a prank, a practical joke. It is not a hoax. Do you still think this is funny? Scientology is a cult started by Hubbard, and this is what he himself has said:

With the leakage of your latest propaganda video into mainstream circulation, the extent of your malign influence over those who trust you, who call you leader, has been made clear to us. Anonymous has therefore decided that your organization should be destroyed. For the good of your followers, for the good of mankind, for the laughs, we shall expel you from the Internet and systematically dismantle the Church of Scientology in its present form. We acknowledge you as a serious opponent, and we are prepared for a long, long campaign. You will not prevail forever against the angry masses of the body politic. Your methods, hypocrisy, and the artlessness of your organization have sounded its death knell.

You cannot hide; we are everywhere.

We cannot die; we are forever. We're getting bigger every day and solely by the force of our ideas, malicious and hostile as they often are. If you want another name for your opponent, then call us Legion, for we are many.

Yet for all that we are not as monstrous as you are; still our methods are a parallel to your own. Doubtless you will use the Anon's actions as an example of the persecution you have so long warned your followers would come; this is acceptable. In fact, it is encouraged. We are your SPs.

Gradually as we merge our pulse with that of your "Church," the suppression of your followers will become increasingly difficult to maintain. Believers will wake, and see that salvation has no price. They will know that the stress, the frustration that they feel is not something that may be blamed upon Anonymous. No, they will see that it stems from a source far closer to each. Yes, we are SPs. But the sum of suppression we could ever muster is eclipsed by that of the RTC.

Knowledge is free.

We are Anonymous.

We are Legion.
